Building 16 is located in the central region of the Campus next to buildings 05, 06, 15 and 20, and is intended to be used by the Central Library of PUCRS; it will have a total area of 20,004.00 m2. The work includes the reformation of the existing library measuring 8,831.30 m2 and expansion in the center of the building with 11,172.70m2, distributed in a 14-story tower.
